TJ Rib's, oops I mean, Louisiana here we come!

Packing right now, getting ready to head to Louisiana to see the husbands family for Easter. By the time this posts we will have several miles behind us.   I'm excited as it's been about a year since I've seen some of them, longer for others.  I love going there.  All the major holidays are covered by his Aunts on his Dad's side. Everyone of them is like a family reunion.  Easter is at Aunt Pete's, Thanksgiving at Aunt Sis's, and Christmas at Aunt Fran's.  At Easter every year the Aunts have made quilts that there is a drawing for.  For the last 5 years, they have threatened to stop making quilts.  You have to be present to get your name in the pot.  Also, there will be a massive Easter Egg hunt for the children.  Lots of fun.
Hopefully we will be stopping here around 5 or 6 tonight (Friday night) in Baton Rouge at one of my favorite restaurants ever!

The restaurant we stop in has tons of LSU memorabilia, and the atmosphere is great!
I know I live in GA and should be a UGA fan, and I am, but LSU is my favorite team.
Anyway, hope everyone has a great Friday!  See yall when I get back.

That quilt tradition is wonderful. I've never heard of that before and I sure wish my family did something similar - although they wouldn't want me doing the quilting! Have a wonderful time in cajun country! Following now! -Diane
